Our website  is: https://vedantavani.com. Vedanta Vani is a  free-of-charges, online monthly magazine. It is run by Ramakrishna Vedanta Vereniging Nederland. Address: De Vlaschaard 57, 1183KM, Amstelveen.  It is not-for-profit, non-commercial, without adversitements.

Vedanta Vani is a free virtual magazine. It deals with non-sectarian, spiritual, intellectual, cultural, and religious topics.  The languages used in this magazine are English, Dutch, Sanskrit, etc. The magazine itself is in English and Dutch.

The Purpose

The purpose of Vedanta Vani is to spread the ideas and ideals of universal spiritual language called Vedanta as found in the Vedas and post-Vedic literature. The magazine has for its principle purpose and aim the distribution of the ideals and ideas of Sri Ramakrishna, Mother, Swami Vivekananda, the other Direct Disciples of Sri Ramakrishna and Mother, and so on.  Vedanta  means that knowledge which liberates us from narrow, limited, sorrowful existence and shows us the way to know our true nature, to know the Divine, to become free. Vedanta Vani, through the virtual world, brings this message of Vedanta to your mobile or laptop. These days, when you are all busy and are unable to read books, social media like virtual magazine is the best way to bring home noble truths..

What personal data we collect and why we collect it

Since time immemorial, people have given their names and addresses without hesitation: “What is your name?” “Where do you live?” These are natural questions everyone asks everyone and answers to these questions are not secret at all. However, now, we live in a strange world. Things, in the name of becoming simpler and easier, have become strange and terrible. Everything is commerical. Please note that we are NOT interested in collecting your information, nor do we do commercial business. We DO NOT USE COOKIES. We DO NOT USE Google Analytics. We do not collect personal information about visitors to our website. We never sell, rent or hire or buy any data or information.

Like every web service provider in the world, our service provider, Robohost, generates a log of visits, [IP address, day and time of visit, etc] which does not identify you. The information thus collected is already in public domain. Secondly, we use WordPress. WordPress and its associate plugins may collect log of visits etc.

We use one third-party link (youtube) in our pages. Clicking on the link of third parties or enabling those connections may allow third parties to collect or share data about you. We do not control these third-party websites and are not responsible for their privacy statements.

Contributors

We shall soon make a policy on contributors and contributions. Contributors’ name, email address, living address, etc may be retained in our computer for some time. However, for the present, we are not accepting any contributions –articles, poems, etc.
