Swami Turiyananda says

"You are mine forever"--this is the right attitude. Everything in this world is very transcient, lasting only a few days. Nothing is permanent but Ishvara. Therefore, in whatever circumstances we may find ourselves, if we can live a God-centered life, no miseries can touch us. Even in the great calamities of life if one can feel God's presence in the heart, one experiences infinite joy.
