Change

The weather is changing. So they say.

When it should have been warm, it rains. In this part of the earth.

In India, it is terribly hot, beyond imagination.

In desert lands, there were sudden rains and floods.

While masses are victims of this change, global business heads and billionaires blame what is easiest for them: carbon. They dictate policies, they do everything. Masses only listen, obey and if need be, react humbly.

So billionaires create this  narrative: “Carbon emissions due to poor people lighting a dim lamp in their houses causes global warming. Carbon emissions due to poor people travelling in crowded buses causes greenhouse effect.”

When there was no rain in this part of Europe in 2022, world leaders blamed carbon emissions and global warming.

When there is continuous drizzle and clouds now, leaders blame carbon emissions and global warming.

They know better. What can we understand? We can only reduce carbon emissions by lessening emissions. How? Living without lights, heat, without travelling, etc.

One thing is certain. Humans are extremely powerful. We humans occupy only 12-13% of the globe, along with carbon-sucking trees. And 10% of the earth is desert, maybe? The rest of about 75-76%  is carbon-sucking ocean. Trees and oceans are all ready to inhale carbon dioxide and yet humans create global warming. This is the power of the human being.

Therefore wise people said: “This is a small world.”

Let’s all pray to Sri Ramakrishna, Mother and Swamiji that the effects of emissions or whatever may go soon and the earth be a paradise to live in.
