THE SEVEN COLOURS OF THE SUN’S RAYS

 

Sun rays have seven colours, says the Rig Veda. In at least two mantras, the Veda says that though the Sun’s rays are single and white, they have seven colours. Here is a mantra which explains how.

Swami Turiyananda says

"You are mine forever"--this is the right attitude. Everything in this world is very transcient, lasting only a few days. Nothing is permanent but Ishvara. Therefore, in whatever circumstances we may find ourselves, if we can live a God-centered life, no miseries can touch us. Even in the great calamities of life if one can feel God's presence in the heart, one experiences infinite joy.
