    Swami Vivekananda’s Teachings

    Mayali Ramharakh

Arise, awake and do not stop until the goal is reached.
This teaching means a lot to me because it motivates me to achieve my goals
I have three goals to reach this year. My first goal is to be an excellent gymnast. My second goal is to be successful in school. My third goal is to complete grade 5 with excellent results.
I know that if I want to achieve these goals I have to work hard every day. I have to make sure I practice my gymnastic skills every day and not be afraid to challenge myself to try new things.
I also need to concentrate in class and focus on homework and this way I will achieve my other goals.
Swamiji teaches me this by saying – “Arise, awake and do not stop!”

    Student, Amsterdam

    Madhav chants Saraswati Vandana verses

    Ahana Ray

    Student, Voorschoten

Ahana lives in Voorschoten. She is passonate about painting. Whenever she gets time she picks up brush and pencil to give shape and lines to her imagination. Her paintings are done with a great deal of detail and they easily stand apart . However, painting and drawing are only hobbies and Ahana has several other interests. Here are only a few of her pencil sketches, drawn when she has a few free moments.

    TALENT HUNT

Are your children living in Holland in particular, or in Europe in general?  What is their talent? Can they sing, draw, paint, write, etc?

Please share their talents with the world. It makes everyone happy.

Please write to us at vedantavanimag@gmail.com so that we can use your children’s talents in one of the future issues of Vedanta Vani.
